Indoor Tropical Conservatory Restoration in Armonk, NY

A large residential tropical conservatory required an intensive approach rather than routine houseplant maintenance. I developed and led a two-day restoration plan to bring the established indoor planting back into manageable, healthy form while preserving the character of the mature collection.

The work included extensive pruning and removal of overgrown plant material, detailed plant care and cleaning, fertilization, and propagation of selected material removed during the restoration. Because of the scale and height of the conservatory, the project required specialized equipment and a coordinated three-person horticultural crew.

The result was a refreshed, more intentional indoor garden and a foundation for ongoing care of the established tropical collection.
